Yesterday I discovered a new firefox addon called the Social whale extension, which is very useful for twitter users. This addon does a very simple thing. When you click it, it copies to the clipboard a short url (using the twt.gs service) of the page that you are browsing at the moment.

Additionally you can right click it and select to upload a photo. In that case it will upload a picture you will choose to twitpic and copy to the clipboard the url of this photo. This addon is a time saver and if you use it with the twitterfox addon you can turn your browser to a full twitter client.
